Nepal is all set to participate in the ESports World Cup 2025 in Saudi Arabia, with the Nepali PUBG team 'Team Hora E-Sports' competing in the event from July 25, after qualifying by finishing second in the PUBG Mobile Super League Central and South Asia.
The team, consisting of Akash Rai, Sheetal Rai, Supreme Adhikari, Ugen Chopel Lama, Prabhesh Gurung, and Ayush Lama, will be accompanied by officials Sanjan Gautam and Navram Shrestha. The PUBG Mobile World Cup 2025 Group Stage has concluded, with Alter Ego Esports leading the top 8 teams that have advanced to the Grand Finals.
The top 8 teams that secured an automatic berth to the Grand Finals are: Alter Ego Esports, 4Thrives Esports, DRX, Weibo Gaming, Alpha Gaming, Team Secret, ThunderTalk Gaming, and IDA Esports. Meanwhile, Team AxTMG will compete in the Survival Stage for another chance, after landing in 15th place with 62 points.
