National Savings Division Unveils Prize Bond Schedule for 2025

The National Savings Division has announced the prize bond schedule for 2025, outlining the draw dates and locations for various bond denominations. The schedule marks the beginning of a new year for the National Savings Program, which has undergone several changes in recent years to enhance transparency and compliance with financial regulations.

The first draw of the year is slated to take place on January 15, 2025, for the Rs750 bond in Karachi. The draw will be followed by multiple draws throughout the year, with dates and locations set for various prize bond denominations. The schedule includes draws for the Rs100, Rs200, Rs750, Rs1500, and Rs40000 bond denominations, as well as Premium Bond draws. The draws will be held in different cities across the country, including Karachi, Multan, Faisalabad, Peshawar, Quetta, Rawalpindi, Muzaffarabad, and Lahore.

While the National Savings Division has announced the prize bond schedule, the State Bank of Pakistan has also set a deadline for redeeming existing National Prize Bonds. The last date for redeeming or exchanging National Prize Bonds of Rs7,500, Rs15,000, Rs25,000, and Rs40,000 is December 31, 2024. Bonds can be redeemed through encashment, replacement with Premium Prize Bonds, or transfer of funds into bank accounts at State Bank of Pakistan banking services corporation offices or commercial bank branches.

The announcement of the prize bond schedule and the deadline for redeeming existing bonds marks a significant milestone for the National Savings Program. As the program continues to evolve, it is clear that efforts are being made to enhance transparency and compliance with financial regulations.
