BBISE Imposes Ban on Exam Staff Over Negligence

Chairman Balochistan Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education (BBISE) Mir Ijaz Azeem Baloch has imposed a three-year ban on examination staff for negligence during the ongoing matriculation exams in the province, following the arrest of 9 fake candidates and seizure of 35 mobile phones from students at an exam center in Quetta.
The move is part of efforts to prevent cheating during matriculation exams across Balochistan, where mobile phones and unrelated persons are prohibited near examination centers under Section 144. The BBISE officials are visiting examination centers to ensure the elimination of cheating and improvement of education quality. Chairman BBISE, Mir Ijaz Azeem Baloch, and Controller of Examination Abida Kakar, recovered 15 mobile phones from an examination center in Sibi and suspended the staff involved.
The BBISE Controller Examinations Abida Kakar emphasized the need to prevent copying to improve education quality in Balochistan. The chairman said that strict action will be taken to prevent cheating and improve the quality of education in Balochistan, as per the directives of Chief Minister Mir Sarfraz Bugti and Provincial Education Minister Raheela Hameed Durrani. The ban on examination staff is a significant step towards ensuring the integrity of the examination process.
